How It Works
A hydraulic vane pump uses a rotor with sliding vanes rotating inside an elliptical cam ring. As the rotor turns, centrifugal force and pressure oil push the vanes outward against the cam ring. The increasing volume between vanes on the inlet side draws in fluid, and the decreasing volume on the outlet side pushes fluid out under pressure. In a double pump, two vane cartridges share the same shaft and deliver two independent flows.
